Martial Artist

Eric Umali has been an Owner/Operator full time since 2011. Previously he headed The Pit Vegas, The Pit 702, helped open 10th Planet Downtown, and most recently Altruist Mixed Martial Arts.

Eric is a 2021 Henderson Heart of the City Recipient, a 3rd Degree Hawaiian Kempo Black Belt, a 3rd Degree Isshinryu Karate Black Belt, and Black Belt currently training under Edward Kang of Infinite Grappling (Baret Yoshida affiliate).

Originally from San Luis Obispo County, CA, Eric was a Film & Television Executive in Los Angeles for six years prior to moving to Las Vegas. He graduated from Cal State Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production.
